The licensing agencies are out to kill internet radio. I would love to use your platform but the outrageous fees charged by SE, ASCAP, ETC, make doing so too expensive. I’m all in for paying the artists but I imagine these agencies are taking most of the money off the top. Is there a way to use your platform but somehow loop it through Live365 to take advantage of their licensing?

I’m really hoping someone (some company) jumps in and alleviates this. To DJ Angell’s point there really isn’t any damn solution out there other than Live365 – which doesn’t even seem compatible with Traktor Pro and has a very non-professional embedded player. There’s GOT to be another way!

Hello DJ Angell,

I totally hear you.
We’re working on providing licensing to our customers right now.
I hope to have everything sorted out within 4 to 5 weeks.

Regards,
Alex

Unless you have the large pocket book to pay royalties to ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, and SOCAN yourself the options dwindle to pretty much nothing now.

So it seems one option is this here site but what am i paying for? A start up or existing radio station that is non profit is basically screwed. I would need to pay airtime pro PLUS royalties from every song played.
Looks to be the end time of streaming radio unless you’re rich or can handle garbage non-existant customer support on other sites.

Signed, frustrated as hell.

Hello Frederick,

Airtime Pro user interface isn’t optimized for mobile phones. That said, if your phone or tablet screen is big enough, you’ll still find your ways around. I managed my Airtime Pro station from my phone, but it’s much easier to do it on bigger screens to be totally honest with you.

Alex

Hi Bob,

If you purchase a subscription with Streamlicensing you will be legally covered for streaming your station in US.

Thanks,

Last night we were knocked off the air unexpectantly. We suspect a disgruntled staff member there. We did get back on the air fairly quickly. But I’m looking for another radio service. So please send me more info.
